Focus on Success Chuck Sage, Program Executive Travel and Tourism
Sage was the Advertising Sales Director for Travel Weekly, the #1 weekly national newspaper of the Travel Industry, for 20 years, then became the Associate Publisher for TravelAge Magazines, a Division of the Official Airline Guides for the following 9 years. Sage then became the Travel Marketing Director for The New Yorker magazine and grew in that position through the next several years. Chuck brings more than 30 years of impressive travel industry experience plus a wealth of notable accomplishments in world wide sales and marketing in the travel industry, focusing his attention on world tourism destinations, cruise lines, airlines, hotels and resorts, tour operators and car rental firms. During his tenure at these travel trade and consumer publications, Sage was credited with driving sales and revenues to the highest levels. Chuck Sage's exceptional communication and inter-personal skills have contributed to his overall success. Chuck maintains a close relationship with key travel industry executives, including members of the consumer and travel industry press. A passionate and enthusiastic sales executive, Chuck applies his principals of hard work, dedication and determination in the travel and tourism industry. He was named to WHO's WHO in the Travel Industry in 1993. Chuck, a native New Yorker, raised his family in Manhattan's Upper East Side. An avid tennis player, Chuck and his wife enjoy world wide travel when time permits. He holds a BA in Marketing/Communications from the American University in Washington, DC.
